LOCATION
This Tuscan retreat owes its fascinating name to the place where it is set and called by the locals Al Principe.
The green valley that surrounds the property also has an imaginative and mysterious name: "La valle del Canto" (the valley of sweet song).
In reality it is difficult to trace the origin of such important epithets. The history of Lucca is a sanctuary of culture and traditions but it is also studded with legends and ancient stories. For some centuries BC the area near the Villa between the Serchio river and the Castle of Nozzano was famous. when the Romans arrived and built their fabulous private villas (Domus) and their military settlements. The fertile valley, the navigable river and the sumptuous wooded hills made it all possible.
Thus, the "Valle del Canto" was dotted with luxurious residences, spas, vast agricultural fields and streams and small rivers that romantically bathed this land.
EXTERIOR SPACE
Magnificent garden surrounding the villa of about 2 hectares partially fenced. Parking that can accommodate up to 10 cars. Table for 10 people on a covered porch. Villa Silvia is the ideal place for outdoor dining. There is also a wood-burning oven for grilling and pizza. The fabulous swimming pool invites guests to go for a swim while enjoying a view of the beautiful surrounding countryside.

First floor: 2 cozy lounges, 4 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom (2 of the bathrooms have a Jacuzzi shower).

Rows of fine grapes grow on the gentle hills, between splendid landscapes and ancient streets, which become real itineraries to follow for those who want to get lost in colors and local gastronomic production. The Tuscan Wine Roads, together with those of Flavors, are one of the most interesting routes to discover the lesser-known corners of the area, villas and farmhouses, farms and cellars where you can taste the best labels. In an hour's drive, you can reach nearby Liguria to visit the Cinque Terre: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore.
